It was while living and working in Seoul that Adalia, creator of SQP, honed her skills as a dancer and instructor. She could be found two or three nights a week dancing in popular Latin dance clubs such as Macondo, Caliente, or Gaechi. She pursued certification in Latin Dance instruction with the prestigious, Salsa-In Academy in Apgukjeoung, Seoul. She achieved this goal under the direction of director and instructor, Son, Na-ri. 

While in Seoul Adalia:

• Achieved receiving Latin Dance Certification with the prestigious, Salsa In Academy under the tutelage of director and instructor, Ms. Son, Na-ri.
• Taught lessons at Macondo, You Can Dance Studio, and Caliente
• Conducted the first Salsa Boot Camps in Seoul at the You Can Dance Studio

It was in Korea that Adalia acquired the nickname, "Salsa Queen". This name later became the title of her first Latin Dance company, "Salsa Queen Productions".
